Clocks in the UK are planning to advance by one hour soon. This will lead to trains being delayed by one hour and some workers to work an extra hour. Experts claim this change will not result in energy conservation, dispelling the belief that it does. The change will take place between the third and second nights, and daylight saving time will be made permanent, ending the need for future adjustments.
