Adelaide 36ers centre Nick Rakocevic avoided suspension after entering an early guilty plea over an on-court incident that had resulted in an NBL charge. The decision cleared him to take the court against Melbourne United on 7 October.
His availability made no difference to the result. Adelaide lost the match, with coach Gleeson saying the team played "scared" and did not show enough fight. Melbourne United snapped a rough run of form with the win.
